Two years ago I was living in a nice apt. with my sister, but had been forced to move from my primo spot in downtown Seattle because I couldn't afford it anymore. I had half the sites I have now (if that) and none of the kick ass technology I use. I probably employed about 25 people.
When 2003 is over, I'll have made 5 times as much as I made in 2001 (and 2001 was actually my first good year...the first year I made more than my dad does lol) and employ over 50 people. I purchased a house last year with some land and an awesome mountain view and I've been having fun landscaping it. I got custody of two of my infant cousins and I'll probably have them awhile longer, but I no longer have a roommate. I bought a new car last year too and am thinking about getting another one just for kicks (not counting the minivan I had to purchase to lug around my cousins and nephew). I've started looking for vacation property and plan on purchasing some at the end of next year.
Life is DEFINITELY sweeter than it was 2 years ago.
