If he was molested, it's not shocking he kept it secret so long. Maybe he's just getting passed the victims stage and is getting into the angry stage. Maybe he feels Haims demons were attributed to this and he wants to do something about it. Better late than never.

If they were quoted in the news as saying they had first hand knowledge of child molesters but refused to tell anyone who they were unless you bought their book, I would say yes.
OK not realistic, but I still think he's a scumbag for trying to make money off of it by hyping his upcoming book. Just out them and sue them if you want some sort of retribution / reimbursement.... maybe save a few other kids from the same fate.
It's not like he is afraid to come out with it like some victims that were molested as children, he's already done that. The hard part is over, now he needs to spill the beans.
