You're apparently too retarded to understand this. Relying on media buying alone is a dangerous strategy. The traffic can dry up at any time, competitors can bid up the prices, the traffic can stop converting, you name it. Once any of these happen, you're up shit creek without a paddle. Having a solid list, on the other hand, allows you to keep selling even without an infusion of outside traffic.
Anyone doing media buys and NOT increasing their list (with or without selling something at the same time) is exposing themselves to more risk then necessary AND leaving long-term money on the table. Sure, you can argue some media buyers do really well, for the time being, and they need not build a list. But that doesn't negate the fact that they could be making much more, for a much longer time, if they were to keep building their list at the same time.
