I live up here in the NW as well. 5 minutes from Santa Fe Station Casino.
And yeah...it's like living in any town up here.
That's why I make sure to hit the strip and the clubs and downtown as often as I can. I want to experience the city I moved to.
I lived 2 blocks from the beach on the Ft. Lauderdale strip from 1982 to 1988...and I never went to the beach even ONE time the whole time I lived there! LOL
So I'm determined to not let that "I live here so I don't experience it" phenomenon happen to me again.
Don't get me wrong...I do not like any of the big "happening" clubs. They all suck and are overpriced with terrible service.
But I do like going to the big casino's and seeing and being seen. And I love hitting Fremont and drinking. And of course a couple of local clubs off the strip that I really enjoy.
Matter of fact I'll be playing music at The Bikini Bar on Friday Jan. 20th for you guys that live here and for those of you staying for the AEE show.
