Unless you're talking Europeans, Americans love their rubber checks. 900 is an option but what happens if another Worldcom bombshell hits? Epassporte, why wouldn't that be another PayPal (owes us $2500). Someone needs to do debit for US customers, I'd jump ship immediately since the security is better. After PayPal, every alternative seems to scare the bejeezus out of me since there's no guarantees.
I mean, who thought printing the CVV2 on the card was a good idea? It's obvious to us that even verifying this relies on cards info not being compromised, people have gotten access to VISA/\MC's CVV2 database somehow, it should be self-selected like a PIN and not hardcoded. htpasswd verification, which is admittedly lax, never has a cleartext password, only a verification. It's basic.
