Let's just assume you had $1,000,000 cash to buy a house in Bermuda. I don't beleive it for a second but let's just say it's true for the sake of argument. If you dropped that to buy a house so you didn't have to say you rented to live there for a few years, that would flat out make you an idiot. So what you're saying is that you're an idiot? See, anybody with even a basic level of intelligence would do the math, which I assume is too complicated for you, and realize that it would cost more to buy than to rent for the period you're there for, and then take the smarter approach. It doesn't make you less of a person to rent a house. Not to anybody that matters. I suppose it does to you, but really you don't matter one little bit.
