i said this bordered on scam because it way, way under-produced based on the stats you gave.

in my opinion, your stats are false, or they dont represent the actual banner spots. your site network might get 500k impressions a week but the pages with the spots do not. as you've told me, some of the sites require login to view the banners. so are your posted site stats for the pages with these banner spots or the whole site?
the banners my site owners posted aren't 1997 style any more than your entire network design is, but thanks for the attempted insult. our designer tried to match the design to the publication.
these are certainly better than the toon and game banners all over your sites:

The problem I have is the scam comment and the implication, not to mention if you felt you weren't getting a decent ROI, why not communicate with me and allow me to try and make adjustments

And though the banners may be better than those other banners, they are getting less CTR , so maybe "better" but not "effective"
Either way if you like I will let those two banners run another month on me, if not fine.
