If you want to stop it then the next time a program decides not to pay at least jump in and show a little support for the affiliates wanting their hard earned money. I remember posting on that debacle of a thread where the non payment was first announced and I recall many people trying to brush it off as if it was perfectly acceptable and that everyone should just roll over and take it. I never lost a dime but it disgusted me to see it.

Few thought it was "acceptable" but acknowledged that there was a risk. There is a risk with any decision you make in business. I've seen many CCBill programs fold. Sure, the affiliate will not lose whatever money is owed, but they still lose out on all of their time and money invested on promotions.
