I know nothing about you, but my problem with pit bulls is that they are often owned by people who shouldn't own one. They are buying to dog to compensate for their own feelings of inadequacy. (These are the same people who freak out when they think they have been dissed, and now, instead of getting you into a verbal altercation, can now order their dog to kill you.)

Besides, if you want a tough dog, there are dogs that have pit bulls for breakfast, such as the Presa Canarios and Cane Corso.
