i love using analogies .. but this is a poor analogy. The majority of people buying knives at "target" are not using them to commit criminal acts, nor is "target" advertising it's knives as a great way to commit an illegal act.
In the video he explains that not only is CBS distributing software who's main use is to distribute copyright material , but they are actually demonstrating via screenshots , its use to download copyright files.
to make your analogy proper you should have "target" advertising it's knives with a picture of gang members murdering someone with one.. then ask if people think target is also responsible.
