pretty dam funny, and insightful.

so has the movie industry paid the statutory damages of 25k per person who watched their movies for all the previous infringement yet.

Have you guys.
So it's funny and insightful because a bunch of guys are comparing themselves to Hollywood, and they're correct? You mean a bunch of guys that created a website so everyone can bypass payment to see entertainment --- are like the people who actually create the movies? Like Hollywood or not, the difference between what Hollywwod has done vs what the Pirate Bay have done are so disparate its not even funny. What have the Pirate Bay ever done creatively?

You realize these guys don't create any content, right? Someone like you would look up to people like this.

Here's a good comment from the article that sums it up for me:

Oh my goodness. Don't you know? Pirate Bay produces "innovation" which is the most wonderful thing in the world according to this blog. And if you think that the folks in Hollywood are innovating when they create new stories, new special effects or new anythign, you would be wrong. Hollywood people are just old foagies who sit in their chairs and tell the world to get off their lawn. This is reality as this blog perceives it. You are just so frickin' clueless it's not funny.
