I always told that Russian police is very corrupted and brutal. But not that much as the US one. Watch this thread - even being high, Russian cops don't shoot everyone (kissing a passerby woman's hand - yes, shooting - no)

I do remember only a few cases of fatal shooting against unarmed (the one w/o firearms in their hands) people. All these cases were resulted into a prison time for the police officers (the last one I know was resulted in a life sentence).
