What amuses me the most is that the republicans don't even bother to change the message. At least the democrats come up with new lies for different elections. Every time the republicans are not in power they run on the platform or lowering taxes, shrinking government, removing government from our day to day lives, more personal freedom, shirking the deficit, and getting rid of abortion and yet none of them ever do it. They might actually enact a tax cut, but inevitably they raise a tax somewhere else to make up for it. They just recycle the same shit election after election and their base continues to buy it.
