Playboy & Hustler also went through litigation in the 1970's that set legal precedents which settled the matter, that porn is protected by the first amendment.

Stop destroying stupid excuses please, it makes the "censorship" lobby look foolish. In the real world Freedom of Speech is far wider than just the US and protects us. So those who use this excuse please stop.
We could wait for an "International treaty agreement." I feel hell will freeze over first. Because even if the EU and US mange to agree, Russia will become a haven for piracy and the effect will be little in the fight.
Mean time countries can impose their own laws in their own countries. Lie making it illegal to do business with pirates. Like processing, advertising, hosting, affiliating, etc. Stretch DMCA to a level where Paypal is liable and even VISA. It needs to be determined on more than an email from an individual, so make it a recorded delivery letter from a lawyer. Then a court battle. The music and film industry are likely to take on Paypal to curb this problem.
Still will it stop a non US processing company to step in and take over the processing? So it has to go higher than just PayPal to be really effective.
Many here will not like any idea of any measures to curb piracy and think of any excuse to use. That really makes me think whether their income's are involved. Who knows? I do know a piracy site that a sponsor claims were affiliates, might not be. They are selling advertising space. Not affiliates.
