Well to be honest, I don't think you lied about buying ads and pop ups. It wasn't your job. However people you said were affiliates sending you free traffic because they wouldn't take down the advert, were selling adverts by the month.
I suggest you put the past behind you and worry about your future. Unlike me you need to earn a living, I can afford to to post thread after thread.
