Lip-sync'ing assures the artists' voices do not crack or fail altogether ... and with most artists running, and dancing, and whatever else they do, it also assures we do not hear their huffing and puffing, heavy breathing, and weazing. (yes many artists are smokers .. )
You mean 80% of bullshit pop bands are lip-sync'ed. Judas Priest and Foo Fighters are on tour right now. You think they are lip syncing? How can so many classic rockers, old men in their 60s and 70s now, still play and sing live? Tony Benett still plays all over the world to packed houses and he's 85 years old! How does he sing live every time? It's called musical talent which these pop lip syncers just don't have.
