I rode on one of those things at a show in Vegas. It IS almost impossible to fall off one. Unless you're REALLY stupid...
Believe me, I had one of the engineers that designed the thing show me how to ride it. I tried to take it to failure. I drove over the engineer's foot hoping it would fall. It did not. The engineer almost did.
