This used to be true sixty years ago when the entire nation would go on a war footing. I'm talking about World War II, where everyone in the US was some how contributing to the war effort. These days, not so much. These days we go to war - Iran, Afghanistan - and the financial impact is negative.... If you take hundreds of thousands of US soldiers normally based in the states and send then into a combat zone where they can't their money at the local five and dime that's a bad thing for our economy. We are currently in the worse recession since the Great Depression, and two wars hasn't helped us one bit.

I think if EVERYONE just minded their own business everything would clear up. Let Isreal deal with their own problems.

I believe that all nations have the right to nuclear power. No one has the right to stop any one country from creating peaceful nuclear power. Iran should have this right.
The problem is that the rest of the world has the right to inspect and approve of such technology. It's very simple - what Russia does in a nuclear power plant can have far reaching implications three thousand miles away in Europe, as well as the rest of the world. We saw this first hand with the Chernobyl disaster. The rest of the world needs to know the plants that any one country is building is safe.
