Saving videos to iPhone

Everyone talks about how fanboy fantastic the iPhone is... but this device sure has a lot of limitations. Like for instance not being able to save videos to your phone. I guess that makes Apple a little squeamish that you might cut them out of their iTunes gravy-train.

So I downloaded this app called iDownloader which actually does allow me to download videos. But it only does it through a 3rd party browser built into the app itself. It doesn't actually allow you to use the app via Mobile Safari.

Here's the dilemma... I am using a VOD script that allows users to download videos. But I think requiring iPhone users (27% of all mobile users) to download a 3rd party app is kinda lame. For every additional hoop you make your customer jump through, you lose around half of your customers.

Is there a better, more integrated app that I'm overlooking?
