I guess you're a victim of bad parenting too. And do you really think a 1 or 2 yr old can grasp the concept of other countries much less other races? Perhaps not teaching kids to make observations based on race/color/religion will go further in ending racism then teaching toddlers the differences between the races.
The majority of 'brown' people I know came from Mexico or some other Latin country, the rest were typically of middle east decent. I have never met a 'black' person that either moved here from Africa or has even visited Africa. However I do know a entire white family that moved here from S. Africa a few yrs back.
