The smart republicans know that with the huge pile of shit Obama created trying to fix a small problem, 2013-2016 is going to suck. Medicare has been ruined. Social security is a time bomb. Obamacare is only 25% implemented and insurance rates have already gone up 40% to cover those costs. Whoever is president 2013-2016 will preside over the worst economic implosion in our history, so smart republicans aren't running for that job. Santorum may not realize it, but I'm sure Gingrich sees it so I'm not sure why he's sacrificing himself. I guess he figures it's it's last shot at the oval office, that 2016 will be too late for him.

The smart republicans are waiting until AFTER the bills come due for Obamacare and the other trillions in debt he's created and the whole thing comes crashing down. They know that if Obama stays to take the blame, in 2016 the republican is guaranteed a landslide like Reagan had after Carter.
