I've never known a person so filled with hate and contempt as Andrew Breitbart, so it is hard to muster much sympathy at his passing.
My last memory of him, from a few weeks ago:
The guy seemed amped out on drugs to me, so I will not be surprised to learn that drugs may have played a role in his untimely death.
I generally try to muster some sympathy in learning of someone's passing, but when I recall Breitbart's reaction to Ted Kennedy's death, (within hours of Kennedy's death he called Kennedy a "villain", a "duplicitous @#!*% ", a "prick" and "a special pile of human excrement"), I will simply say that Andrew Breitbart was a mean-spirited person who did much damage to the level of political discourse in this country, and leave it at that.
The cautionary tale is if you want to be remembered in a nice way after you die, try and be a nice person while you're alive.
