Video playback in member area issues...
Has anyone had experience with this: I have a website with a members area, protected by Verotel. I use a javascript video player called "VideoJS" (I didn't write the code myself, as I don't know javascript yet). I've had a few members email me that they received this error when they tried to view member area content after joining the site:
303: Failed to load a resource: Unable to load resources: Error #2036.
However, they are able to view the trailers in the non-protected preview area of the site. Both the member videos and the trailers are identical, technically. I did some research but the results went over my head. Some suggest it's due to "mime types in your .htaccess file", but most people say it's an Internet Explorer issue. Sure enough, when I suggest to new members to switch browsers, the problem is usually solved.
My real issue is that one member said he preferred to surf with his galaxy tablet, and it returns this error as well. Ultimately, I'd like to eliminate the problem entirely so members can browse any way they like. Anyone ever encountered a problem like that before?
My site is fuck-tastic.com
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
