'Caught' does not equal calling the police yourself, on your cell, and reporting it. Then staying put and waiting for them to arrive so you can hand it in...
But semantics and analogies aside, and I know your asacp connection etc, but the point I'm trying to make is that if someone is doing something ' a bit naughty ' (downloading music) and they come across something unacceptable, and they choose to fess up, and hand it in...
Then its a shame they dont get treated a bit better. I mean, a few more cases like this, and anyone that does see or find anything like this, is simply just going to ignore it. Why risk the hassle from the authorities, if you report it... ?
I just think its a shame - We know about asacp etc, but the average Joe on the street does not. Bad move by the police imho....
