well, I had people lining up waiting to join and CCBill does not accept VISA outside the US and Europe and so I thought I'd use Paypal...I guess I told myself that mine is not an adult site...I mean, there is no sex, just nudity...non-sexual nudity, I believe...so I thought it would be OK....
But I have since done a lot of reading and it appears paypal have a dark side...they are in the habit of freezing LOTS of accounts, and then pocketing the interest which I understand can be quite substantial...there have been lots of court actions against them and some class actions too.
My interest is to find a "cause of action" so I can take them to court. One possible area is that they act like a bank by holding money, but in actual fact they are just intermediaries who facilitate the transfer of money...So by holding money it is quite possible they are acting illegally...but I am not a solicitor, so this is a bit beyond me...I was hoping someone on this forum might have had some experience with this issue.
