It is a question of scale and the industrial mass murder against people because of their race by an advanced industrial nation Germany.
Of course the USA is wrong in its imperialist wars, but you do not grasp the difference in terror and evil between that and the Nazis.
The Nazis gassed train loads of children for example, the Americans have not done that, also America has a wide range of freedoms, and you can campaign against laws and the war in Iraq.
You do not face being shot for hiding someone in your house.
