I honestly believe you get to an age where you think you are right and everyone else is wrong, and you come off looking like an ass. Your at that age now. All you know is "the good old days" and that was some time ago. People are still paying big bucks for great content, but our industry has wised up and no one is going to be paying big bucks for below average content. I don't see Dean Capture looking for work.
Well lets see if I'm wrong.

Is porn revenue more or less than it used to be? LESS
Are there more or less skilled pornographers working in porn? LESS
Are people paying more or less for great content? LESS
Are there more or less skilled shooters working in porn today? LESS
Are there more or less message boards? LESS
Are there more or less posts on the boards?LESS

Have we ALL seen the good old days go? Without a doubt.

And that's the truth. Dean couldn't sell to magazines as Viv, Micheal, Jack, Steve, Suze did time and time again. Now he's got a few sets under his belt he might find bigger fish to fry elsewhere. The days he earned $6,000 shooting 2 sets. Are few and far between. If ever.

That wasn't a great price, it was the norm. Which is why the guys shooting like the ones who got multiple sets published monthly never came here to earn what Dean does.

What ever excuses you want to come up for the decline of porn, few but pirates and those who weren't earning very much 2005-2007 would not love to turn the clock back. That's as far as I would like to turn it back, 2005 was my best year.

I don't care if it gets turned back. Because I was an asshole to Squealer and others like him. I could concentrate on shooting content that made better money then his idea would ever make. Problem is people believe his illogical lies. I forgot who he was, he didn't make that much of an impression on me and his story was largely lies. Or he's the most stupid person for hanging around me all day.

Unlike most here. I experienced a time when spending $25,000 shooting a single scene of no great importance was possible and very profitable. A time when a porn shop would turn over $2-$3 million a year. At a huge profit margin. Sounds small, multiply it by 100 for just one chain. A time when piracy was a prick in the profits, not a slash or chopping off of them.

Maybe it was a time when there were less people all earning more per person. Or maybe if you count all the shops, video sales, rental, mail order, magazines, cable TV, phone ads, hotel chains, etc. You realise it can never be replaced by porn online, not with the free sector or piracy.

Maybe it was a time people were paying big bucks for below average content. Pity Dean couldn't get to it. He worked for Steve Hicks, so he knew where the real money was.

Now Rochard, debate the points I posted and show where I got it wrong. Didn't you used to own a paysite?
