These guys are not lovers of US foreign policy. But they put the count at less than 150k.
Saddam Hussein was thought to have murdered approx double that amount during his tenure. (this is not a pro war argument - just offering some balance)
So wars under Bush which had some degree of justification have resulted in many deaths of civillians and combatants, whereas Mao and Stalin murdered millions of their own people in work camps and through starvation in order force their political ideology on to the people of their own country. The higher estimates put the figures for Mao at 5-8m people. Stalin 25m+ people.
So you can make a point putting Bush in this company, although I think again you belittle the sacrifices of the millions of victims of Mao, Stalin, and Hitler.
