Quite true. How many clicks, the path, how it reads, is your information not displaying 100% correctly, is it too obvious customer will get rebilled, do you show a non-recurring next to recurring, etc. etc.
However, what I have realized is the *biggest* increase in sales is when you have more control over how that card is accepted and the flexibility in creating your join form and packages.
