What I find utterly mind-numbing is that the Sec of Def, Leon Panetta, testifyed a week or so ago that the president would commit acts of war, and put US troops in harms way, based NOT on the elected representatives in congress, but on what some random groups of other countries say. This is COMPLETELY illegal. Since when does a president get permission from other countries, and NOT from the elected representatives of the people?

Imagine if Putin announced that Russia was going to attack some other country, because the US told him to, or because the Chinese told him to.... and that he was not asking the Duma, he would just TELL them what he was doing???

Why isn't this MASSIVE news???
