Yeah no doubt. The only thing about it that is news to me is that I was just creating landing pages/files in some folder that had no connection or links or anything to do with the main site and Google for some reason decided to bunch it together with the sites overall stats just because it's on the same domain.

Overall bounce rate for the "domain" in analytics yes. I'm not sure how to explain clearly that the pages the shitty traffic went to had absolutely no connection to the main site which receives SE traffic, besides being on the same domain. My best guess is that Google looks at the overall bounce/time on site/etc for the domain and adjust SE traffic accordingly, OR all of it is just a coincidence which I doubt.
