Tell them the truth, your day to day operation you excelled and the money was great, but when you got deeper in the content operation of the business you felt your abilities could best be served elsewhere. Meaning, head right to the weakness at first, then bury it with your successful accomplishments in the close. This will show growth and problem solving action/abilities.
