We've established long ago you're pretty slow on the comprehension, so let me recap for you at your level of education and understanding.
* He did not get paid because he was not working his last week.
* As he admitted, he was across the country at job interview(s) and job seeking.
* This is verified by staff covering his shift, & the admin logs we use for back end systems.
* Hence he is not paid when not working.
