Yeah, I don't get the whole "but I am a (insert desired job here)." If you have a family and bills to pay, stop crying and sell used cars, insurance, cheeseburgers...whatever. I've worked a couple of shitty IT jobs over the years when things got rough.
Anyone who is intelligent, well-spoken, polite and out of work is just plain lazy.
