in 94 I was 10-11. Did listened to his albums a couple of years later and could never understand what the fuss was all about. I missed the whole boat. Luckily, it was a ride I feel good about missing. Nu-Metal and Angry Germans helped me get over the instability of teenhood and the need for social identity.
In all my life I only met one Nirvana fan who was mentally stable. The others were most of the time washing windshield in downtown Montreal, or stuck in a 1994 time bubble. I actually had a very long and great conversation with him, because as much as I hate the band, I know most of the facts.
