i had one and got nicked.

even the solicitor did not know if it locks its an offence, he had to look it up.

to me the locking device makes it safe, but it goes to a case were the prosectuters argued if it locks then its the same as a non folding blade.

as i say it makes no odds to me if you have it or not. i am just pointing it out that its ok to have at home, but not in public. and under uk law a car/van is classed as a public area.
