When you were growing up bullying didn't follow you home. There were no social networks and you didnt have to deal with it everytime you signed onto your computer. It was also only one or two kids usually involved. Now with the push of a button your whole school knows about what the bully is saying about you. Also guessing you didn't have an iPhone that kept you constantly tethered to your bullys. Going home from school was an escape. Not the case anymore.

Technology also creates a disconnect where the kids who would never physically bully someone in person - will do it electronically.
