The HD Broadcasting is a setting in splitcam now but if you split up your broadcast upload bandwidth you my have problems -- a direct connection is preferred.

These cams will work as HD but at over a 720p the frame rate will slow

There are camcorders and newer video capture cards available also.
H.264 video compression*

at 720p the output is 30 FPS to 60 FPS

Realistically, 1080p is limited because of Internet bandwidth constraints of consumers. You would need 10 Mbs or more to upload at that rate.

As consumer bandwidth increases our current broadcaster API will accommodate 1080p.
