While I understand everyone's initial revulsion to the gif - ask yourself...would Michael J. Fox laugh at this himself? I've seen him on shows and interviews where he makes light of his own condition - even the title of his book "A Funny Thing Happened on The Way To The Future."
Personally, I don't think the gif is funny...but I don't find it as offensive as others.
