The problem is that not all chargebacks are fraud.

If somebody steals your card and goes on a spending spree, you will contact your bank report the card stolen and deny the charges and your bank will charge them back. Do you think it's fair in that case that your name and address get published on the internet as a fraudster?

Whilst I agree that some (not all) processors could try harder to protect the merchant, the responsibility for stopping chargebacks doesn't just fall on their shoulders. The merchant also has to keep an eye on things.

Unfortunately affiliates don't see enough information to be able to help out, but if you are an affiliate, and a sponsor you are promoting constantly hits you with too many chargebacks then you should be looking at finding another sponsor.
