The very reason college is so high is because of government involvement. If they accept government loans and grants they must set their tuition costs to more or less what the government tells them regardless of how much money they need to charge. This is why colleges are sitting on boat loads of cash and still raise their tuition's every year.
In an undisclosed location underground in New York City sit 6,643 gold bars, worth $987 million, recently acquired by the University of Texas Investment Management Corporation, one of the largest college endowments.
