How many of you have very low outgoings, $0 debt and more coming in than you're spending? Then look at the interest you're paying servicing the debt. Now imagine online porn was banned by Visa and MC from June 1st. Or they passed a lw making the payment of porn online illegal like they did with gambling.
Or your wife has a terrible accident and then you discover you have life threatening cancer and even though you both survive, one of you can't work again and the other has no appetite to continue in the higher paying profession of porn production without her husband.
All far fetched, but it can happen. 
That brings the problem America and most of the West faces today, into perspective. Except it was "An accident waiting to happen." While the rich filled their pockets gambling with the rest of the populations wealth.
Living on debt is great.

I have zero debt. My business has zero debt. I don't own a credit card of any sort, business nor personal, nor does anyone associated with my business have any form of credit through our business.
I spend (and save) what I actually have, don't spend what I don't. Same for my business.
And I don't live in, or really care about what happens in the US anymore. One of the best decisions I ever made was leaving. And now I travel and do pretty much whatever it is I want to do.
If the porn industry went tits up tomorrow, I'd find a way to come out ahead. Always have and always will. I'm not saying that I'm prepared for any and every situation but ever since I lost my kids prematurely and I realized that god is a myth, there is only one thing in this entire universe that I rely on and have faith in, and that's myself. And I have yet to let myself down.
