According to Alexa on May 1st TPB's bounce rate was higher than it has been in a month. On that day the bounce rate spiked and then it dropped down to where it normally is.

ah do you even know how to read stats
the bounce rate for the pirate bay was 30% for months until feb
it has dropped to the 22-25 range spiking once when they had that big server outage issue
the so called spike your talking about was going from a low of 22.5 to a whopping 25%
a whole 2.5% increase
so only 9 million of those 12 million people stayed
of course the vpn/proxy technology that allows you to bypass the blockade would also prevent those uses from being counted by alexa too.
So all that lost traffic your talking isn't really lost at all.
