Can you show us the traffic stats then?

All you need to do is change your DNS. It's not much of a block really, even you could do that. Probably.

And indeed, we agree, people will just use the mirrors (http://pastebin.com/afLxmCr2) or other trackers.
Yes it will require extra work, will stop new traffic wandering in. It will make other piracy sites easier to use.

Looking at newzbin, it seems you're wrong.
Traffic stats to back up your argument please.

Nope. Obviously it has. Has it done anything to stop piracy? No.
Laws against all crimes haven't stopped them.

Lots of people are against things that don't directly effect them in anyway. I'm against racism. Doesn't effect me, but I am passionately against it - went on loads of demos. I was against fox hunting. Didn't effect me in the slightest.
So you're morally in favor of piracy?

I don't like the idea of giving the government the ability to censor sites that they decide are unsuitable. As someone that makes a living working in porn, I can see that if a different government gets in, porn could be blocked too. It sets precedents of control I disagree with. See China as an example.
Nothing to do with censorship. Is arresting a person in a shop selling pirated DVDs, about censorship?

Correct. I am not a pirate, nor am I involved in piracy. Netflix, iTunes, Spotify and iPlayer provides all the legal content I could ever possibly want.
So stop wasting time fighting against something you will never stop. You're passionately fighting against others wasting time and money trying to reduce piracy, thinking it will stop them.

It won't, in fact you're wasting your time and it's costing you money fighting against it. you should be working on paying the rent this month, putting food on the table. Not wasting time antagonising potential customers and posting something your existing customers might take a dim view of.

Why do you keep asking?
Because you don't convince me.
