Analogies are flawed when they compare apples with oranges. Please explain why that is wrong.
And yes, discussing using analogies is a really good way to deflect from your inability to make a simple counterpoint to my very simple argument. ;)
I'm the winner because I'm right. It doesn't work, and increases the criminals revenues.
What other points?
Sorry, everyone seemed to be confused as to how to discuss something.
My point is that it is counterproductive to block access to one torrent tracking site in 2012. It increases their revenue and does nothing to stop people using torrents. Please link me to someone explaining why it is good as you are unable to.
My position on piracy is, and always has been, perfectly clear. It is illegal and wrong.
However, I am also against stupidity. And the UK blocking access to one torrent tracker is stupid.

Lets get back to the basic issue.
Everytime someone starts a thread about some attempt to make a stand against piracy, whether it be a proposed new law or a site being shut down, you barge into the thread saying how ridiculous it is because it wont stop piracy.
Sometimes you even get in before Gallbladder starts up with his bullshit.
The problem is you absolutley miss the point every single time.
Laws rarely stop the problem.
Single acts of enforcment do not stop the problem.
We all know that a single act wont stop the problem. Why do you go on and on about it ?
