That's because its true. There IS no danger.
Sunspots occur all the time. They are a natural, normal part of solar activity. The amount of sunspots rise and fall in an 11 year cycle. Sunspots are the source of coronal mass ejections that shower the earth with charged particles. It happens all the time.
Want to protect yourself? Get some new batteries for your flashlights in case it pops a transformer somewhere. Otherwise, take a trip to the north pole and enjoy the aurora it creates.
