What I think is that 3 years old is too old for breast feeding.
I do not feel that breast feeding babies should ever be frowned upon whether in public or in private however.
It's just that 3 years old is not a baby. The kid could probably crack his own coconut or catch a fish, and can certainly chew solid food.
