Just so you guys know, Shelly Lubben (along with her team) writes most of these "stories", and the one she wrote for the girl I knew very well (who's no longer a Pink Cross girl) read almost the same -- and it was quite the fabrication.
I won't mention the girl's name, but after she left Shelly, and got back in touch with me, one of the things we talked about was her experience with Pink Cross.
I won't go into details, but the girls who get "help" from Pink Cross (groceries, jobs, etc) do so in exchange for these "testimonials".
No testimonial -- no help.
After she apologized to me, she told me she squandered her porn money (which I already knew), and couldn't buy food...so there ya go.
The end of a porn career (just like any other high-profile career that's lucrative) can be very harsh on a person when it comes to an end. Most of these careers are short-lived, with lots of attention and money heaped on a person who, in most instances, isn't ready for it. It's tough to look back and realize you've blown all that money, and a lot of people do either destructive things...or vindictive things. Or they just fade away.
It's a Christian's duty to convert to one's faith, and Shelly's set up quite the shop: grab these girls when they're at their weakest, validate their feelings, give them stuff when they have nothing, and then -- wahlah! -- convert them. Oh, and spread disinformation and lies in order to further the agenda.
Bravo, Shelly. Be proud of yourself. Keep fighting your good fight.
