I wonder how many people commenting on this thread have done any research on the history of breastfeeding. Most of the "opinions" being spouted come directly from propaganda fed to the public by baby formula companies (an $8B a year industry).
By the way: 1. breastfeeding your baby OR small child is not in any way a sexual act and 2. breastfeeding fulfills emotional needs in addition to nutritional ones and 3. boobs were not created simply for your sexual enjoyment.
I did a lot of research before my son was born and was pretty horrified by the attacks on breastfeeding that have gone on over the years. It's like a modern day witch hunt. I had family members giving me grief for breastfeeding my 2-month-old! Most children will start to refuse the breast long before the age of 3 but who are you to judge what that family deems proper for them?
Think about the topic with your big head instead of your little one and you might see things differently (although the cover mom is pretty hot, I must admit).
