Fins 0, USA 5. What a hose down.
Fins deserved to lose. Not only did they play bad but I've never seen so much diving going on, it was pathetic. The refs even bought into it once in the second period, but it didn't amount to anything gained for Finland. That dive in particular was just shameful. I felt most bad for the Finnish fans.
I started watching that game actually hoping Finland would win. They sure didn't play like defending world champions. That vicious cross-check (and resulting misconduct penalty) by one of their players didn't do their cause any justice either. What a letdown.
